Customer declaration for specific products

Some products sold by LMI are covered by REGULATION (EU) 2019/1148 of 20 June 2019 on the marketing and use of explosives precursors. The aim of this legislation is to prevent the illegal manufacture of explosives. The products are listed in the legislation as a restricted explosives precursor, defined as "A chemical substance that can be used to make explosives by adding other substances." The law will apply from February 1, 2021.

In the attached list you will find the products covered by REGULATION (EU) 2019/1148 and supplied by LMI AB.

In accordance with the legislation, LMI AB is obliged to inform you that these products are covered by this legislation, as a restricted explosives precursor, and therefore must obtain a customer declaration related to your use of this product.

Important to consider:

• Private individuals must apply for an authorization from the MSB in order to purchase these products. The authorization number must be indicated in the customer declaration.
• the customer declaration must be received by us before delivery can take place.
• The customer declaration will need to be renewed every new calendar year.
• To manage the customer declaration, LMI uses a digital form that is signed with Bank ID.
• The company representative should fill in the "Customer Declaration" and fill in the buyers other than himself who are authorized to order, then these buyers should fill in the "Customer Declaration Buyer" to confirm.
