Green areas Landscaping

Green spaces are needed everywhere for human well-being and to provide conditions for biodiversity.

Green spaces are often required to meet a wide range of parameters when they are created. The soil's grain size distribution and plant nutrient content are important parts. Often the regulations in AMA Anläggning 2020 must be followed and we offer soil analyses that help you with this.

WHICH ANALYSIS PACKAGES CAN I USE FOR GREEN SPACE CONSTRUCTION:

NOTE! Soil improvement advice is requested as an option.
The sieve curve measures the grain size distribution of soil mineral particles. We do not do sieve curve on topsoils and soil improvers.

Excavated soils:
When using excavation spoil, it is sometimes unknown what contaminants may be present in the soil. Analysis of heavy metals and oil contaminants is therefore often required. The analysis includes oil contaminants and heavy metals, adapted to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's list of limit values in sensitive soil. Includes the metals arsenic, barium, lead, cadmium, cobalt, chromium, copper, mercury, nickel, vanadium, zinc and oil contamination. The sample must be taken in a special glass jar ordered from us.

AL analysis (Read more ) shows available plant nutrients for the next 5-10 years and provides a basis for stock fertilization and liming: pH, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and calcium are included.

Moisture content is an important soil property that affects soil fertility. Moderate to high levels of topsoil provide good soil structure with a good air/water ratio. Like clay, humus provides improved nutrient holding capacity.

A water extract from the soil provides answers to pH and conductivity (electrical conductivity) where pH indicates the acidity of the soil and conductivity is a measure of the total salt content of the soil, mostly consisting of plant nutrients.
