Effect+
AREA OF APPLICATION
- Effekt+ is used as an additive in the water when spraying plants with, for example, iron, manganese and certain fungicides.
- Effect+ has a pH-lowering effect, which improves the uptake of plant nutrients and some chemical pesticides by the leaves.
- pH control of the spray liquid is particularly important when using water containing high levels of hydrogen carbonate ions (high buffering capacity, alkalinity).
- By adding Effect+, the pH is lowered and the hydrogen carbonate ions are released into the air as carbon dioxide. This prevents precipitation and deposits.
- Many chemical pesticides work better at lower pH. Half-lives of some types of pesticides can be extended. Plant nutrients are held in solution at the right pH, making them more readily available to the plant.

DESCRIPTION
Effect+ is a buffering pH regulator used to acidify spray liquid to the appropriate pH value.
RECOMMENDATION
Normal dosage: 1-3 l/400 l of water per ha, depending on the buffering capacity of the water. NOTE! When using rain or surface water, the dosage is significantly less.
To reduce alkalinity by 100 mg/l, you need to add 120 ml Effect+/1000 l of spray liquid. The table below shows how much Effect+ to add at different alkalinity levels, while maintaining an alkalinity of 50 mg/l.

When combining Effect+ with different chemicals, follow the instructions for use carefully. Normally buffering additives like Effekt+ are added after wetting powders (WP) and dispersible granules (WDG), but before liquid flowables (SC, SE) and emulsifiable concentrates (EC). Finally, wetting agents, such as our product Ekovett, are added.
We recommend plant sap analysis to determine the need for which plant nutrients need to be applied as foliar fertilization. The analysis can be repeated at the earliest two weeks after treatment to assess whether the treatment needs to be repeated.
