DESCRIPTION
Calcium Nitrate Liquid is a 51% solution of anhydrous calcium nitrate. It is free of ammonium.

FIELD OF APPLICATION
Calcium Nitrate Liquid is specially developed for use in nutrient solutions and for foliar fertilization. It is used for all plant species for the supply of calcium and nitrate nitrogen.

WHY SHOULD I USE CALCIUM NITRATE LIQUID
Calcium Nitrate Liquid provides essential calcium that increases the quality of fruits and improves shelf life. Calcium Nitrate Liquid contains pure calcium nitrate. Thanks to its purity and high solubility in water, this liquid formulation contains as much calcium per liter as regular water-soluble calcium nitrate contains per kg.

It is also important that Kalksalpeter Liquid does not contain ammonium nitrogen, which competes with potassium and calcium uptake. Especially in case of problems with pistil rot in tomatoes and similar calcium-related diseases, it is important not to disadvantage calcium uptake.

RECOMMENDATION
The standard dose is 100-300 mg calcium/l nutrient solution. This corresponds to about 50-160 liters of Calcium Nitrate Liquid/1000 liters of stock solution (at a dilution of 1:100).

Important! Do not mix calcium nitrate in the same fertilizer tub as fertilizers containing sulphate or phosphate.
We recommend a water analysis of minerals to check that the nutrient solution contains the correct amount of plant nutrients. It is also important to analyze recycled nutrient solutions to be able to adjust both plant nutrition and alkalinity before the nutrient solution goes back to the crop again.

For foliar fertilization use up to 10 litres/ha in at least 200-400 l of water. Pay attention to the risk of burns.
We recommend plant sap analysis to determine the need for which plant nutrients need to be applied as foliar fertilization. The analysis can be repeated at the earliest two weeks after treatment to assess whether the treatment needs to be repeated.
