FIELD OF APPLICATION
Hydrogen peroxide 19% is used to supply plant roots with oxygen. Plant roots consume oxygen in cell respiration. In growing media with
more or less stagnant water, or when the amount of air-bearing pores is low, oxygen deficiency can easily occur. Algae and other microorganisms naturally present in the water also consume oxygen.
For the plant to have enough oxygen, the oxygen content of the water should be above 5 mg/l. The same limit also applies to fish, for example.
Sometimes water contains organic pollutants, in which case COD (chemical oxygen demand) should be measured to assess the need for
oxygenation of the water. COD is a measure of organic matter and should be below 8 mg/l.

DESCRIPTION
Hydrogen peroxide 19% is an oxidizing substance used for the oxygenation of irrigation water.
RECOMMENDATION
Dosage: If there is a risk of oxygen deficiency in the root environment, water out 200 ml of Hydrogen Peroxide 19% per cubic meter of water.
200 ml corresponds to 38 mg hydrogen peroxide per liter, or 38 ppm.
Hydrogen peroxide does not affect the pH and should be added in each watering (unlike products stabilized with acid).
Hydrogen peroxide is best applied with a fertilizer injector directly into the outgoing nutrient solution. Secondly, it is mixed in its own stock solution vessel. As a last resort, it can be mixed into the stock solution with fertilizer, but not together with chelated micronutrients (the chelates are destroyed) or ammonium fertilizers. The hydrogen peroxide should be added last when the stock solution vessel is filled with water.
Check the hydrogen peroxide level at the dropping point with peroxide sticks, where the level should be 10 mg/l (10 ppm).
