Boric acid

Categories: SKU: 10005

FIELD OF APPLICATION
Boric acid is used for foliar fertilization in outdoor crops and for nutrient irrigation in greenhouses and outdoors.

Description of the project

DESCRIPTION
Used as a boron fertilizer. The substance is considered a phase-out substance, as it is toxic to reproduction. Phase-out substances are chemical substances that should not be used because even small doses lead to a high risk of hereditary mutations or damage to reproduction (to fertility or embryo/fetus/child development) or damage that may eventually develop into cancer.
If possible, use our Boron Liquid product instead, which is a liquid formulation of boron monoethanolamine, which carries less risk of inhalation.

RECOMMENDATION
The normal dose for foliar fertilization is 1-2 kg/ha.
The dose in nutrient solutions is normally 0.3-0.5 ppm, which corresponds to 17-29 grams/100 l of stock solution, which is diluted with a mixing ratio of 1:100 before watering.
Can be mixed with a number of fertilizers and pesticides, but always test mix smaller amounts first.

Diamond fertilization can cause poisoning symptoms in the plants, so treatment should always be preceded by soil analysis or plant sap analysis.
We recommend spurway analysis on the soil to assess plant nutrient needs before fertilization.
Plant sap analysis is recommended during the growing season to determine the need for which plant nutrients need to be applied as foliar fertilization. The analysis can be repeated at the earliest two weeks after treatment to assess whether the treatment needs to be repeated.
