DESCRIPTION
This is our range of chlorine-free water-soluble NPK mixtures with magnesium, sulphur and micronutrients. The sodium content is extremely low. This is because all the potassium nitrate included is from Haifa Multi-K Reci which contains less than 0.03% Na.

Our Polyfeed varieties have different compositions to suit different plant species and stages of development. The micronutrients are chelated with EDTA.
Polyfeed contains all nutrients except calcium. To obtain a complete nutrient solution, Polyfeed is combined with calcium nitrate, which adds calcium and nitrogen. For shorter cultures in limed soil, or if the irrigation water is rich in calcium (very hard water), calcium nitrate may be excluded.

RECOMMENDATION
Standard dose for irrigation: 1-2 g/l irrigation water. For preparation of stock solution add e.g. 20 kg Polyfeed to 100 l water. For irrigation, the stock solution is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:200. The conductivity is then about 1.2 mS/cm.
Poly-Feed should not be mixed with calcium nitrate in the same stock solution, as this will cause precipitation of calcium sulphate (gypsum).

For golf greens, spraying with Poly-Feed Menuet is recommended, 12-25 kg/ha per week.

We recommend a water analysis of minerals to check that the nutrient solution contains the correct amount of plant nutrients. It is also important to analyze recirculated nutrient solutions to be able to adjust both plant nutrition and alkalinity before the nutrient solution goes back to the crop again.
