FIELD OF APPLICATION
Patentkali may be used in organic farming to supply the plant nutrients potassium, magnesium and sulphur.
The product is made from natural minerals by physical extraction and may be used in organic production under Regulation (EC) No 848/2018.

WHY SHOULD I USE PATENTKALI
In potassium-demanding crops, adding extra potassium can promote flowering, fruiting and the formation of roots and tubers. Potassium also improves the plant's tolerance to drought, frost and pests.
Sulphur is an important addition as low sulphur deposition from combustion now makes sulphur deficiency common. Sulphur is a component of some amino acids and is therefore essential for protein synthesis. Sulphur is also involved in fat synthesis and energy transfer reactions in cells. Sulphur supplementation is particularly important for crops such as brassicas, onions, sunflower and others, as they produce sulphur-rich organic compounds as protective substances.
Magnesium is important for photosynthesis because the chlorophyll molecule contains magnesium. It is also used in enzymes, in protein synthesis and in cell walls.

REKOMMENDATION
Dosering: Upp till 1000 kg/ha
Mängden bör beräknas utifrån mängd tillförd organisk gödsel de senaste åren. Tänk på att svavel i organiska gödselmedel endast långsamt blir tillgängligt efter nedbrytning, på samma sätt som kväve och fosfor. Däremot blir kalium tillgängligt med en gång, men binds också upp av ler- och humuspartiklar i jorden.
Högsta tillåtna giva med avseende på tungmetall- eller växtnäringsinnehåll är: 3400 kg/ha. Tungmetaller (mg/kg): Bly 0,43, kadmium <0,01, koppar 1,2, krom 0,64, kvicksilver <0,01, nickel 5,4, zink 2,4, silver <0,005. Förvaring: Förvaras torrt i sluten förpackning.
